MOTOR GUIDE PARTS
As we all know motorbikes or motorcycles are a two-wheeled vehicle that varies considerably depending on the task for which they are design.
It can be long distance, congested urban traffics, cruising, sports, racing and off-road conditions. Now motorbikes or motorcycles are the most affordable and most common type of vehicle nationwide. It is also an easy-to-learn vehicle because it is lighter than an automobile and easy to use. But it is important for us to know the motor parts guidelines and familiarize this parts so that we will able to learn how to maintain its capacity, improve and upgrade to more efficient and reliable motor vehicle.
Here are the different important motor parts guides we need to know:
- Chassis
Is a parts in motor guides consists of metal frame that supports the motor and suspension. Older motorcycles apply steel-tube frame that cradles the motor. Sport or racing motorcycles, use a lightweight aluminum perimeter that wraps around the motor and uses it as an additional rigid support.
- Front fork
It is a motor parts guide made from two separate fork legs attached to the fork clamp and the front wheel. This fork is controlled by a damping rod and springs that being immersed in thick oil, controlling the movement of the fork.
- Rear Shock Absorbers
It has similar function in front fork. It allows the swingarm to rise and fall to compensate for changing road conditions.
- Fuel System
Fuel supply in a motorcycle is through a steel, aluminum or fiberglass tank located on the frame above the motor. It is an important motor guide parts since, it is an energy source for the motorcycle to start and run.
- Motor and Transmission
Crankshaft is a motor parts guide responsible for generating the spinning motion that drives the motorcycle forward. When they are compressed by the piston, fuel and air will ignite by a spark plug.
- Electrical Systems
Electrical power is important parts in motor guides to start the motorcycle. It used a battery, located under the rider’s seats which provide current, power to the lights and ignition system.
